Who are you?

Equal As One is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization focused on healthcare and education. We are a grassroots organization without governmental or large foundation funding.

What do you do?

We believe that people trapped in poverty need both good health and education to escape it. Our goal is to bring healthcare centers and schools to impoverished areas that have none. We provide a sustainable model that avoids dependence on foreign aid and creates community ownership.

How did you get your name?

We believe that every human is Equal in worth, and that we are all One human family. We believe in the kinship of humanity; we are all called to take care of each other.

Where does my money go?

In the last 12 months, 95.1% of all money raised has gone directly to our current healthcare program in Nigeria, and only 4.9% to administration.

How can I give?

Can I volunteer?

Absolutely! Volunteers make up the entire staff here at Equal As One, and we'd love you to be a part of what we are doing. Volunteer to join us on a future trip to Nigeria, to assist us with marketing or fundraising, or to help us with trip preparations (like counting, bagging and labeling medications into individual prescriptions, or helping us gather supplies).
